BaseFrame 40ft & F-BOX 20ft for Heavy-Duty Rail Transport

The #F-BOX 20ft wagon is specifically designed for the efficient transport of iron ore to steel mills equipped with specialized unloading systems, such as underground bunkers. Its robust construction also allows for the transport of other high-density bulk materials that are not susceptible to moisture damage.

Featuring a 20ft body, the #F-BOX wagon offers a cargo volume of approximately 29m³. When paired with the #BaseFrame 40ft, which boasts a payload capacity of up to 65 tons in its central position, the system provides exceptional versatility. Notably, a single 20ft #F-BOX body can be combined with two 10ft #Coil charging racks, enabling the simultaneous transport of raw materials (including ore, HBI, coal, and crushed stone) alongside finished products like steel coils weighing up to 32 tons.

BaseFrame – Modular Freight Wagon

The roll-off container in accordance with DIN 30722 Part 1&2 is intended for transport on the road and is widely used. It is used in the construction industry and waste management. In order to be able to travel on the rail, the ACTS system is required. Not every roll-off container is suitable for ACTS.

With the BOXmover BaseFrame Roll on&off structure it is now possible for the first time to transport ALL standardized roll-on containers by rail wagon and to handle them using all common hook lift systems.

The roll-off container transport system plays an important role in combined transport and the potential is further increased by the BOXmover BaseFrame Roll on&off technology.
The technically sophisticated, easy-to-use system enables the rapid transfer of roll-off containers between trucks and trains.
